Our Team
Meet Vanessa Luna
I'm Vanessa Luna. For the past ten years I've spent my nights caring for newborns across Los Angeles, and my days teaching their parents that they're more capable than they feel at 3am. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's in Child Development from Cal State Northridge, but the most important things I know were learned in the quiet hours, one baby at a time.
When I'm with your baby, you sleep. I handle every feed, every diaper change, and every wake-up, following your plan exactly, and in the morning you get a rested baby and a full picture of how the night went. Just as important, I teach as I go: how to read your baby's cues, what's normal, and what to try next, so you grow more confident every day.
Rested parents are better parents. Nobody needs to be told to "enjoy every moment" in the middle of the night; what you need is someone beside you who has done this hundreds of times and can show you it's going to be okay. That's the support I built Newborn Embrace to give, and after 200+ families, it's still the part I love most.
"You deserve to sleep. Your baby deserves expert overnight care. We make both possible."
Vanessa Luna, Newborn EmbraceMeet Denise Rodas
With a Master's degree from UC San Diego and six years of specialized newborn care experience, Denise brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to every family she serves. As a certified Postpartum Doula, she provides compassionate, evidence-based support during those crucial early weeks with your newborn.
As a mother herself, Denise has navigated the real challenges of new parenthood, from breastfeeding difficulties to postpartum depression, and uses this lived experience to offer empathetic, judgment-free guidance. She understands that every family's journey is unique and meets parents exactly where they are with warmth, patience, and practical solutions.
Denise's approach is rooted in the belief that no parent should feel alone in those early weeks. Whether it's a 3am feed, a colicky night, or simply the fear of being alone with a newborn in the dark, Denise shows up fully, every time, with the knowledge of a trained professional and the heart of someone who truly gets it.
Your Baby's Safety
Inviting someone into your home to care for your newborn is an act of trust. Here is what stands behind it.
Every specialist is background checked and fully insured before they ever enter a family's home.
Current infant CPR certification, so the person beside your baby is trained for the moments you hope never come.
Your baby sleeps on their back, in their own safe sleep space, following current safe sleep guidelines all night.
We stay awake through every overnight, and you wake up to a full log of feeds, sleep stretches, and diapers.
